Seattle – August 20, 2018. PayneGroup announces the official release of their new KIT (“Keep in Touch”) product which provides an easy to use wizard so organizations can create their own customized templates (letter, memo, fax, envelope, label). These templates include branding and formatting and can be set up in 30 minutes or less. The administrator of the templates doesn’t need technical expertise because the wizard walks them through the entire process. Once the templates are complete, a built-in process allows the administrator to quickly create a file to deploy. For the individual user of the software, creating documents based on the templates, importing contacts from Outlook, using preferred settings and branding will all be seamless. PayneGroup KIT is affordable and shows immediate return on investment. KIT is built specially for the smaller organization.
The current PayneGroup macro/template package called Forms Assistant will be replaced by a product called KIT-e (short for “Keep in Touch – Enterprise”), which targets larger organizations. KIT-e will include all the components of KIT, plus additional components such as integration with document management systems to stamp the DocID on documents, components for the creation of pleadings/briefs, agreements and contracts, and much more. KIT-e will be released in January 2019.
Says Donna Payne, CEO of PayneGroup, “Our goal with KIT and KIT-e is to maximize our customers’ ability to create their own templates and set up/customize the product themselves, minimizing their reliance on us, or third party vendors, for development and modifications. We’ll still be here to assist whenever needed; however, the solutions will be easy to use and to manage.”
With purchase of KIT and KIT-e, PayneGroup provides training for in-house administrators of the product as well as supporting documentation. Upon request, PayneGroup is also available as a backup service to assist with the creation of templates..
PayneGroup today announced the addition of Rebekah Everest, who joined the Workflow products division, and the promotion of Bryan Blackburn, Sara Angsioco, and Alan Denny.
Says Founder and Futurist Donna Payne, “These changes align with our goal to provide white glove service to our clients and to focus on more client interaction and communication. I am thrilled to work closely with each of these individuals to take customer experience and quality assurance to the next level.”
Joining PayneGroup as a Quality Assurance Specialist is Rebekah Everest. She is well known and respected throughout the legal community, having worked at many AmLaw 50 firms over the course of her 25-year career in the legal community. For the last 12 years, Rebekah’s career focus has been legal tech. In that arena she has worn many hats, including help desk supervisor, legal technology trainer and instructional designer, applications developer, learning management system administrator, and training project manager on large-scale application rollouts. As part of Payne’s Workflow Products division, Rebekah works specifically with the Forms and Numbering Assistant products and is involved in other innovations within the company. Aside from her work at PayneGroup, Rebekah enjoys teaching technology classes to stay-at-home parents hoping to re-enter the workforce and has just begun tutoring high school students through the Seattle chapter of the United Negro College Fund.
Bryan Blackburn began his career at PayneGroup in 2012 as the Executive Assistant to CEO Donna Payne. In 2018, Blackburn was promoted to Client Experience Manager. In his new role, Bryan’s primary objective is to provide clients the highest level of service, offer products and services that best meet their needs, and serve as a liaison between the client and the PayneGroup Support Team. Bryan has a strong legal and customer-centric background and has represented PayneGroup for the past five years at ILTA serving in a number of support capacities. His community work has involved fundraising and volunteering for the Special Olympics and the ASPCA.
Sara Angsioco receives daily praise for her work with Metadata Assistant, Redact Assistant, and Outlook Send Assistant. Sara’s fast and professional responses as well as her dedication to resolving reported issues have made her a client favorite for support within the Security Products division. Sara has been promoted to Senior Customer Experience Specialist. Sara joined PayneGroup in 2015. Prior to joining the company, she worked in retail, hotel industry, and the dental field. It was during her time in dental that Sara found that she had an aptitude for technology. In her spare time, Sara spends time with her three kids, listening to music and reading, all while completing her B.S. Degree in Information Assurance and Security (she also has a photographic memory!).
Alan Denny has been with PayneGroup since 2013, where he has worked as a project manager in both the Workflow and the Security Products divisions. With his latest promotion to Senior Trainer and Customer Experience Specialist, Alan brings his incredible expertise to PayneGroup’s Microsoft Office Master Series training (train-the-trainer) and product incubation where he is instrumental in the design, evaluation and testing of new products. Prior to joining PayneGroup, Alan’s legal technology experience dates back to 1994 when he worked at AmLaw 50 firms and technology companies. In his spare time, Alan continues to sing and act professionally. He was a featured soloist at a recent concert in Palm Springs.
PayneGroup announces the release of an Administrator tool, an application used to set configuration options for the Metadata Assistant. The Metadata Assistant is the company’s award winning and first to market security tool for removing electronic metadata, which removes embedded and potentially embarrassing metadata from Microsoft Office, PDF, graphic, audio and video files.
This tool provides an easy-to-use interface that includes detailed descriptions of each setting available within the software. The Administrator tool offers dozens of configuration options including the ability to list domain names that should be considered internal when processing email. This option is helpful when using the setting to ignore email messages with file attachments when sending internally within the same organization. Other options range from setting default prompting behavior when sending email messages to default cleaning behavior for various file types.
When setting are configured using the Admin tool, those settings are stored in an XML file. The file can be deployed to the entire organization, or to specific individuals or groups. If the settings need to be changed, it’s as easy as opening the XML file and modifying those settings.
“One of our overall goals with products is to empower clients to be able to make and deploy changes themselves. This new administrator tool makes this possible with Metadata Assistant,” says Janet Del Aguila, Manager of Security Products. “We’re happy to offer this tool as part of the annual maintenance/support service to put more control into the hands of our customers who have an interest in making these types of changes themselves.”
